Kim Kardashian has no cold chills after finding out the Featheringtons were inspired by her sisters

Kim Kardashian may have started watching Bridgerton a few months after the rest of us, but she’s probably the biggest fan of the program. Her excessive watch a few weeks ago (complete with white wine and lots of lively messages) went viral. It’s no surprise, then, that Nicola Couglan (also known as Penelope Featherington) took note, and that she just spilled a little tea on Twitter that made Kardashian very happy: The Featheringtons were loosely inspired by the Kardashians.

‘Did Kim Kardashian as the biggest one in the world @bridgerton Stan know that the Kardashians were a great inspiration to the Featheringtons and that we talked about it all the time? Because I feel she needs to know, “she tweeted, to which Kardashian replied,” WHAT?!?! I’m freaking out !!!!!! This tweet was sent to me on my @bridgerton group chat! Can I please come up with a fitting piece?!?! It would make my whole life !!!!!! I love you Lady W !!! ”

Coughlan actually tells Glamorous it in December before it is tweeted. “Penelope is Khloé from the old school,” she said. “Remember that Khloé said earlier, ‘I’m the red-headed stepchild, and I have to do everything for everyone. ‘I think it’s Penelope. But then, you know, Khloé came back and flew high. ‘

She continues: ‘Prudence and Philipa are terrible to her. And then Lady Portia Featherington is a true Kris Jenner – the ultimate ‘mother’. She is very ambitious for her girls. ”

Bridgerton production designer Will Hughes-Jones said of the Featherington family and Bridgerton family dynamics: ‘I say it’s the Kennedys versus the Kardashians. The Featheringtons are new money, so there’s a more cheerful, flashy element to it. While the Bridgertons have a little more money and therefore have the historical and polite features that you will find in a design piece. ‘Hughes-Jones says the Bridgerton color palette is muted, soft, pastel colors, while the Featheringtons are more acidic, with bright yellow, green and pink colors.
