Kate Middleton and William taught George and Charlotte themselves during lockout Royal | News

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge (39) and Prince William (38) currently have their hands full with all three children at home. Prince George (seven) and Princess Charlotte (five) are both pupils at Thomas’s Battersea in south-west London, but could not return to class as schools remain closed for the third time in England.

Kate and William’s youngest prince Louis, two, are also expected to start nursery work in January, but the important step has been delayed by the pandemic.

While William and Kate may have private tutors at their disposal, the practical parents decided to homeschool their children themselves, an insider in the palace confirmed.

Kate, William and their little ones live in Anmer Hall in Norfolk, where they closed for the first time.

The country house has enough space for their children to play in and an extensive grounds for them to explore.

She laughs: ‘I feel very mean!

“The children have such endurance, I do not know how.

‘Honestly, you come at the end of the day and you write down the list of all the things you did that day.

‘So you pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake.

“You’re coming at the end of the day – they had a great time – but it’s amazing how much you can plug in one day.”

Kate and William’s main administrative base is in London at Kensington Palace, but the couple is expected to stay in Norfolk until the closure is facilitated.

The family left the capital before Christmas and is expected to stay in Norfolk for the next seven weeks.

They were able to perform virtual appointments from Anmer Hall and are expected to fulfill their royal duties despite the lockdown.

Kensington Palace shared a video of William talking to London hospital workers on Friday night.
