If you noticed that Jennifer Aniston is leaning fleetingly on Saturday, it was not just the country that sank into a nice, relaxing, 36 hours after Christmas. Friends binge. According to USA Today, the Morning Show actress posted an Instagram story that has now expired with an engraved wooden decoration that reads: ‘Our first pandemic 2020.’ Once the image made its way onto social media, some people wondered if Jen’s festive anniversary of our real year was a believable, dark funny moment or insensitive, given the more than 19 million people who have been COVID-19 in the United States so far. One thing is for sure though: the thing is macabre. Our “first” pandemic? That ornament is not wrong, but needless to say.
