Jamie Lynn Spears blames Tesla for the death of her pet cats and claims the car’s quiet engine led to accidents.

“I know there are just bigger things in the world right now to worry about, but someone needs to let Elon Musk know that Tesla is a secret cat killer and that this is a problem we really need to fix,” the Sweet Magnolias star said of the company’s CEO in a deleted video on social media, published by TMZ. “We have lost now – I do not even want to tell you how many cats – because they do not hear the Tesla crutch and unfortunate things are happening and it is really devastating and tragic for all involved.”

Jamie Lynn, who is the younger sister of Britney Spears, explained that the silence of the electric car startled her cats. She did not explain exactly what happened, only that situations ended badly. “Because the Tesla is so quiet, he might make one of those noises that bothers cat or animal ears when it twists, so they know something is happening and they are not caught off guard and things do not end on a very tragic way, ‘she said.

Unlike gas-powered cars, electric vehicles do not make much noise, which provides a quieter experience for the driver. However, the feature can endanger visually impaired people who rely on sounds to navigate streets safely. According to the New York Times, according to new regulations in September last year, U.S. electric cars must make a noise when traveling at less than 18.6 miles per hour.

“So, Elon Musk, let’s find out,” she said. ‘I mean, you owe me some cats. And, yes, I realize I’m the billionth person to make that joke. ”

She then wrote ‘RIP Turkey’ in a video with her daughter Ivey, 2. ‘Turkey, your little kitten, where to?’ asked the mother. The toddler, who she shares with her husband Jamie Watson, apparently says, “Turkey went to Jesus.” Jamie Lynn also has a daughter named Maddie (12) with Casey Aldridge.

Later, Jamie Lynn shared an update on the “misleading” reaction to her video. “Not that it matters, but it’s a little misleading,” she wrote on a screenshot of a news report on Instagram.

“I did not run into any cats,” she wrote. ‘Tesla can not get the blame, and it was never intended. User error is involved. We always go to animals before moving a vehicle. ‘

She added: “I was just making a suggestion about something I think would be extremely helpful, and the geniuses at @Teslamotors are the best to go after that matter.”

In another photo posted by Jamie Lynn, she wrote: ‘Here’s a quote. I really love my Tesla cars. ”
