How Jimmy Woo’s Manhunt lined up the return for a shocking avenger

The latest episode of WandaVision examines the main consequences that Avengers: Endgame on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that might have teased the looming debut of some surprising members of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Based on the launch of Ant-Man and the Wasp as Randall Park in his FBI role of Jimmy Woo, we can see some famous faces making a shocking appearance in the Disney + series. But which member of the Avengers makes the most sense to show up at Marvel Studios? WandaVision, and why does it make sense for them to appear?

In the latest installment of WandaVision, FBI agent Jimmy Woo enlisted the help of SWORD, in the form of Monica Rambeau, to help understand the strange anomaly surrounding the city of Westview. While no one in the area seems to remember the city or its residents, Woo was looking for an informant who had apparently disappeared within the city’s borders.

What if that informant was the Hawkeye of Jeremy Renner or Ant-Man of Paul Rudd? These are both the two members of the Avengers Anti-Registration crew of Captain America: Civil War, who were both given house arrest for returning to their families as punishment for their crimes.

By the time of Avengers: Endgame, we realize that these sentences were probably reversed due to the insane circumstances surrounding ‘The Blip’, in which Thanos wiped out half the population. And now that everyone has returned, it’s unlikely that the FBI has stopped watching these two vigilantes, even though they imposed their sentences. Especially in the case of Scott Lang, who was no longer under house arrest by the end of the year Ant-Man and the Wasp but was still relevant to Woo’s investigations.

Maybe one of them flew the cage and in the context of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hawkeye makes the best sense. Clint Barton built a strong brother and sister relationship with Wanda Maximoff following her brother’s death in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In Civil War and in Endgame, the two have shown that they share a strong bond because of their history.

Can Renner make a surprising appearance as a brainwashed resident of Westview? Or will we get the ultimate shock with Rudd as Scott Lang in one of the last installments? Be that as it may, do not be surprised if a member of the Avengers in one of the remaining episodes of WandaVision, will be broadcast on Disney + on Friday.
