The musician Grimes is no stranger to brave fashion choices. The artist, who played everything from wings to pointed ears, has something new to show aesthetically.
Grimes took to Instagram to unveil a new tattoo she described as ‘beautiful alien scars’. In the photo, posted Sunday, her back is covered with spider-y blossoms of white ink.
“Do not have a good picture, because it is too sore and I have to sleep, haha, and it will be red for a few weeks, but it’s pretty weird scars,” she wrote. I added Grimes for more information on her new physique and will update this post when I hear it.
“Wow,” TikToker Bella Poarch said. Musical collaborator Hana said: “So inspiring to see this happen !!!”
Not everyone on Instagram was completely convinced. “It looks like random scribbles. But OK,” one commenter said.
Grimes is not new to extraterrestrial life. She is also the partner of Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder Elon Musk. The couple have a son with. She wrote a previous Instagram post: “Ready to die with the red dirt of Mars under my feet,” referring to Starbase, Texas, a city Musk tries to create in South Texas by possibly changing the name of Boca Chica near SpaceX facilities.
