Four dead, three hospitalized in car crash in northwestern Fresno

FRESNO, California (KFSN) – Police are investigating an accident in which four people were killed and three others were hospitalized in northwestern Fresno.

The three-car accident happened just before midnight near the intersection of Palm and Bullard. The driveway has since been closed.

Investigators say a white truck with five people inside crashed into a Ford Mustang and Mini Cooper.

Three of the five people in the truck succumbed to their injuries.

The other two are in the hospital, with one of them in critical condition.

The driver of the Mustang also died in the accident. The Mini Cooper driver was taken to hospital.

The area is closed by the crew because the impact of the collision sent debris across the driveway

Investigators are still at the scene and say it is too early in the investigation to determine the cause of the crash, but according to them, speed is probably a factor.
