Fortnite’s latest licks hint at a Street Fighter Crossover event

According to recently leaked assets, it appears that a Fortover-and-Street Fighter crossover event is underway. Fortnite data information, including ShiinaBR and Lucas7yoshi, posted images on Twitter suggesting that the iconic combat franchise is the next entry in Fortnite Season 2, Chapter 5. According to ShiinaBR, Fortnite’s latest multiplayer portal has been named ‘Skirmish’, and the images embedded in their tweet suggest that Street Fighter’s world is about to clash with Fortnite.

The photos show the Suzaku Castle level of Street Fighter 2, and an accompanying audio file indicates that Ryu will be part of the Street Fighter crossover. A warped version of Ryu’s theme can be heard playing along with the leaked images, so it would not be a complete surprise to see Ryu added as a character or a deserving skin.

Meanwhile, Lucas7yoshi’s tweet apparently shows what the Street Fighter portal will look like when it comes into play. Again, the portal shows that Sukazu Castle acts as an access point to the map of Fortnite, but it does not contain any other details about what other characters or content can bridge the gap between the two games.

Fortnite data information could not decipher which Street Fighter characters will be added to Fortnite. According to Eurogamer, two encrypted files were found in Fortnite’s code, but their identities are unknown. However, given how popular Ryu and Chun-Li are among Street Fighter fans, it is possible that they will be the fighters entering Fortnite’s world.

If the rumors are true, Street Fighters is the latest series to be transferred to Fortnite recently. Characters from the Marvel, Star Wars, Terminator, Predator, and Walking Dead franchises all arrived at some point in Season 2, Chapter 5, while video game characters, including Master Chief and Kratos, were also named skins. .In other Epic Games news, Valve wants to renounce the ongoing Apple Epic antitrust lawsuit.
