At least one possible killed

A busy Stop & Shop on Long Island erupted in bloodshed on Tuesday when a gunman shot three people, including one fatally, inside the driver’s office – before possibly jumping on a bus to flee.

The killer – who was identified by police as Gabriel deWitt Wilson, a 31-year-old current or former worker at the West Hempstead grocery store – used a handgun for his massacre and is still at large, police said.

Cops urged residents to stay indoors while the hunt for Wilson, who was last seen in a black baseball cap and black sweatshirt, continued.

“The #NassauCountyPD is recruiting the area and schools in the area have been notified to close and secure their buildings,” Nassau County police said. said in a tweet a little after noon.

“The subject has not yet been addressed and we ask that residents stay indoors.”

The crime took place with about 100 people in the store, causing screams and panic, authorities said.

Police said the victim was a 49-year-old employee. Authorities said the two wounded were conscious and vigilant.

The suspected shooter was last seen running to Hempstead Turnpike and apparently boarded a bus to flee, a local NBC TV store reported.
