Armed protest marches are planned at all 50 capitals, FBI Bulletin

An internal FBI note obtained by ABC News shows warnings of a “major uprising.”

From this week and at least through Inauguration Day, armed protests are planned at all 50 capitals and at the US capital, according to an internal FBI bulletin obtained by ABC News.

“The FBI has received information about an identified armed group that would travel to Washington, DC on January 16,” the bulletin reads. “They have warned that if Congress seeks to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment, a major uprising will take place.”

Federal law enforcement officials have advised police agencies to increase their security holdings at state houses across the country following the riot at the U.S. Capitol, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

Following the violent Capitol violation of the US Capitol last Wednesday, Democratic lawmakers in the House of Representatives moved forward Monday with an attempt to apply Vice President Mike Pence and the Cabinet the 25th Amendment, which would declare Trump unable to perform his presidential duties and will appoint Pence as acting president until Biden is inaugurated on January 20th.

The attempt was eventually blocked by Republican Rep. Alex Mooney of West Virginia, and House Democrats then filed an indictment against Trump for “inciting rebellion.”

According to the measure, which has more than 200 Democratic citizens, Trump has shown that he will remain a threat to national security, democracy and the Constitution if he is allowed to remain in office and act in a way that is incompatible with self-government. and the rule of law. ‘

According to the FBI, about 29 individuals and / or social media reports of individuals entering the Capitol illegally were identified as of Sunday.

The FBI has received nearly 45,000 digital media tips that are now being reviewed.

At least five people were killed during the siege of the Capitol, including Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick. According to the FBI bulletin, Sicknick “died of injuries sustained during the U.S. Capitol violation.”
