You have been vaccinated. Now what do you do with the vaccine card?

“You have to keep it so that you can prove that you were vaccinated at a certain time,” said dr. Gregory Buller, co-principal and chair of the Department of Medicine at Bridgeport Hospital, said. “There will be all kinds of situations in which you have to show that you have been vaccinated.”

Gottschall said he already ran into the issue when he wanted to buy tickets for a New York Mets baseball game. Gottschall said during the purchase of the tickets that people attending the match should show proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID test.

This leads to another important point regarding vaccination cards, said dr. Cornelius Ferreira, chairman of primary care for Nuvance Health, said.

“You have to make sure you get a card when you get vaccinated,” Ferreira said.
