Fans in the comments respond very well to an explanatory video attached to the message (which shows a player uploading from the PS5 home screen in about 34 seconds to play the game), with computer gamers saying that even their strong power machines do not have the same benefits. On Twitter, some users said that the update is worth it just for loading times. Series X players also reported similar achievements in the new Xbox version of the game.
But a difference between the two consoles lies in how players upgrade the game on the latest generation versions. There is a lot made of a Twitter thread from the Avengers team, which explains in detail how to safely migrate a PS4 savings game to the PS5 version.
The current system means that both the PS4 and PS5 versions need to be installed, open the fully updated PS4 version to migrate the data, and then open the PS5 version to download it again. As many have noticed, the process on Xbox consoles is as simple as downloading the new version and opening it for the first time.
Of course, this is not just a Crystal Dynamics issue, with several PS4-PS5 upgrades causing problems for gamers – to the point where Sony had to add new features to prevent it.
I would always say PlayStation has a better library for the first party than XBox, but also the complicated way in which you need to update games from last generation to current generation is absolutely offered by XBox’s Smart Delivery.
The hoops that make the Avengers upgrade make you go crazy.

It was a big day for Avengers yesterday, as it introduced next-generation versions and Hawkeye DLC, as well as a 2021 road map (including Black Panther). We also learned that the game will not be playing for free anytime soon, and that Spider-Man will not be coming to the game before Black Panther.
