Intel puts Apple’s I’m a Mac ‘man in new ads praising computers

Intel has hired former ‘I’m a Mac’ actor Justin Long to create new ads praising computers. Long starts each ad with ‘Hello I’m a … Justin’, with the typical white background you’d find on Apple’s Mac versus PC ads from the 2000s. Of course, the ads again focus on Mac versus PC, with Apple’s Touch Bar having a long mockery, lack of support for multiple M1 screens and the ‘gray and grayer’ color choices for a MacBook.

One even goes all in on Apple’s lack of touch screens in Macs or 2-in-1 support by mocking the fact that you have to buy a tablet, keyboard, stylus and even a dongle to meet what available on competing Intel-based laptops. Another ad also points out that ‘nobody’s really playing on a Mac. ‘

Justin Long’s return to Mac over PC ads for Intel comes just months after Apple brought back actor John Hodgman for his role as the PC man from Apple’s advertising campaign “I’m a Mac, and I’m a PC “reproduce. While Apple limited its retaliation to the company’s main reason for launching Arm-based M1 MacBooks, Intel went a step further and revived it for full ads.
