With the launch of MagicMobile services a few days ago, guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort now have an option to use the MyDisneyExperience app ‘Interact in amazing ways’ to enhance their visit to the park via Bluetooth .
Once inside a Disney World theme park, guests are greeted with a message to “Enhance your visit to the park with messages and experiences powered by your phone’s wireless technology” on My Disney Experience Here guests will see an option to enable Bluetooth on their mobile device if it is not already activated.
After activating Bluetooth, guests should receive messages and be offered ‘unique experiences’ regarding the park they are in. No further details are given for this function yet.
Oddly enough, we received this call on a non-Apple device, despite Disney claiming that MagicMobile will first be introduced to Apple users. We suspect that some services will be, but guests with any type of device will see new features coming up in the coming weeks.
