U.S. Representative Mo Brooks (R-Huntsville) gave a speech at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 six hours before the riot, and Democrats will not forget it.
Just this week, U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) called for two new investigations into Brooks.
While it may play well among the media and their Democrats, Brooks sees it as an attempt to silence conservatives across the board and believes the consequences of this behavior could be great.
Since that day, allegations that they had a hand in the riot have been the subject of a lawsuit and several calls for investigation. All of these issues have been reported, but no evidence of misconduct has yet been provided.
The idea that a speech – hours before the mob attacked the American Capitol – in which Brooks said that American patriots ‘start taking names and want to kick a hole’ is in some way a criminal incitement or action is not stupid.
