Teamfight Tactics will soon get a brand new collection of units, and Riot Games has finally announced the theme behind it. The latest TFT set will be called Settlement, and it will focus on a battle between good and evil, the studio announced Friday with a video.
While Riot has not announced all the new units they will be coming with Settlement, it gave fans a small preview of some units and bonuses. Part of the battle between good and evil will take place between League of Legends‘God-King skins, Darius and Yarn. These two will give bonuses if they fight against opposing forces but do not work well together.
Riot has also unveiled the new Draconic Origin feature, which will place eggs on your couch while your Draconic units are active. After a few turns, these eggs hatch in random units. Finally, Riot teases one of TFT‘s unique sounding units so far: Little Devil Teemo. This new version of Teemo does not cost gold to buy in the store, but rather costs health. This means that upgrading him to level 3 can put you in a very dangerous position.
In addition, Riot announced TFT Labs on Friday, a new feature that allows players to try new and experimental game modes that are only available for a limited time. The first game mode available to test is called Hyper Roll and will change TFTrules to make matches faster.
Both TFT Labs en Teamfight Tactics: Rechoning will be released on April 28th. In the weeks leading up to the Settlement set the release of the series, Riot will reveal more information about the units players can expect, and the entire set will appear on Riot’s Public Beta Realm for testing.
