A group of indigenous women from Bolivia propose to castrate the infidelity with imprisonment and include it in the law to guarantee a free life of violence, and that its juice is a determining factor for many men in the rural area to abandon and possess against them other types of violations.
A bill of indigenous women’s leaders of a municipal council of La Paz will meet to debate the violence against the woman and resolve to present a project to the Ministry of Justice to include infidelity in the way it protects women. violations.
“The women identify that the fundamental cause of intra-family violence is infidelity, they are the plant that is destined to rise”, explained to Efe the director of the Integral Development Center of the Aymara Mujer (CDIMA), Alicia Canaviri.
This entity has passed the resolution of the meeting of women and will now list the project that will be presented in the next weeks to the Ministry of Justice, according to Canaviri.
EL ABANDONO
The reasons for the women’s aiming to propose this change in the norm should be in various cases of “abandonment” in rural areas due to their species that migrate to the city and form another family.
“There are many women who have been abandoned in the camp because the man came to the city and got another couple and the first one is with the only ones,” the director explained.
The slides of different varieties in different provinces are complicated after being abandoned because many have their “bad views” of the community property, have problems to continue working in their farms or including for sacrificing adulthood to their homes, Canaviri counts.
“Is it the fidelity that he promises ?, they consider it very serious because the family deshace”, recalls the director.
In other cases, related, the men commencing insults to the spouses, verbal and physical malpractices, the words that are not valen for anything, that they are not known in their words or that are considered when planning to do other, situations that can derivar en un feminicidio.
“The female supremacy in physical violence because the martyrdom is with another woman, psychological violence because she is insulted, that she does not serve, that she does not know, she cooks, for example, the other, she is professional, we are ours designees with her” , explains Canaviri.
Varieties of the women in the rural area do not know the application of the law against machismo violence and do not meet justice in its communities, indicates to Efe the leader Virginia Benito.
On some occasions the authorities indicate that the parish is reconciled and has cases in which the pact men “between servants” for that reason to them, agree Benito.
“Necesitamos ser valoradas”, reivindica a Efe Santusa Alejo, promoter comunitaria de la comunidad Jesús de Machaca, a unos 97 kilometer de la ciudad de La Paz.
SANCIÓN PARA LOS INFIELES
The norm that works this group has is the finalization of the infidelity as men as women, the idea is that can be “castigado” with sentence depending on the “pregnancy” of infidelity.
“Infidelity can not be considered as a normal situation because the widow is treating the woman and the family members together,” said Canaviri.
In addition, it analyzes and proposes economic sanctions or communiqués that regulate fireplaces for those “infiltrates”.
It has not yet been clarified that classes of rehearsals can be presented in these cases or the years of pen time, but are working on their points to present the project.
This proposal has a motive for burla in social speeches, but the women will believe that this situation is real, that “it is not a box” and that what it can do with it is to preserve the “dignity” and the “integrity” of the woman.
With this, it is hoped that “men will refrain from abandoning their families”, just as women, and “return values”, concludes Canaviri.
Although the norm is structured, the directorate receives some lamentations of women denouncing the infidelity of their couples.
The Bolivian Fiscalia has registered 7,634 cases of violence against women and minor oaths during this year, and the mayor’s part of them, 6,344, are related to “domestic or domestic violence”.
