Paris Hilton ‘moved’ by Sarah Silverman apology over jail sentence

Paris Hilton says she was brought to tears after finding out that Sarah Silverman apologized for cruelly mocking her with a crude sex joke during an awards show in 2007.

‘I was just shocked when I read [her apology] initially and pleasantly surprised … She was so genuine and so loving and it really moved me, “Hilton said in an improvised episode of her podcast” This Is Paris “on Friday.

“I just felt emotional when I heard that, and I could see that she really meant what she said when she apologized.”

Silverman issued her mea culpa on Thursday for dropping a hilarious insult on Hilton during the 2007 MTV Movie Awards. It was on the same day that the hotel heiress would change her in jail for violations of management.

“I heard the guards have to paint the bars to look like penises, to make her feel comfortable in jail,” Silverman said during Hilton’s time. “I’m just worried she’s going to break her teeth on things.

Hilton, now 40, said on her podcast earlier this week that she “literally wanted to run out of the whole room” when Silverman started cutting into her.

“But I just tried to be strong and sit there while the whole audience laughed,” she said.

‘It was so painful, especially with what I went through in my life, to have people so mean about it. It was really hard. ”

Hearing Hilton’s comments, Silverman apologizes to Hilton.

“I was sorry about the jokes years later, but a little immediate,” the 50-year-old cartoon said Thursday in the episode of “The Sarah Silverman Podcast.”

Silverman said when she saw Hilton’s reaction to the joke, her ‘heart sank’ and she actually wrote an apology letter to Hilton.

However, the actress ‘School of Rock’ realizes that Hilton never received it.

“Here, 14 years later, I’m telling you, Paris, that I’m really sorry,” Silverman said. “I was then and I am now, much more complete and with much more understanding.” She added that comedy is ‘not evergreen’ and that it needs to change over time.

The former ‘Simple Life’ star then recorded another episode of her podcast, saying that she really appreciated Silverman’s apology and that it ‘meant a lot’ and that she even got a little tearful.

“I’m glad her comedy has grown and she realizes it’s not fun to joke with people,” she said.

Hilton changed herself right after the awards show in jail. She served three days in jail until she was released on an unknown medical condition and placed under house arrest for 40 days, according to ABC.

Silverman was also hacked earlier this year for jokes she made about Britney Spears during the same appearance at the 2007 MTV Awards.

‘Have you seen Britney’s children? These are the sweetest mistakes you will ever see, ‘Silverman said during the cruel braai, adding that the singer at 25 has’ achieved everything she is going to achieve in her life’.

Silverman responded to critics of the joke and said she wished she could remove it, but the pop star of the “Womanizer” did not want to apologize.
