Live Nation expects to liven things up within three months

Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino shared new information on Thursday (February 25) about the company’s plans for the return of live music. Once the concert promoter gets government approval to work more than 50% in most areas where it hosts concerts, Rapino estimates that the re-employment of employees and the rescaling of the company will take three months.

‘We talked to our global employees about the kind of timeline when we can [promote] our first show on a scale, ”Rapino told analysts and investors during a conference call on Thursday for the company’s annual report report. During the three-month period, the company will ‘start bringing back marketing and production [and] all the kind of features of the venue, adding that the company can expect to push ‘between the purchase or the announcement and the actual show.’

On Monday (February 22), the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson released a roadmap for delivering live music with indoor concerts that could resume at a lower capacity in May, and be back to full scale by the end of June without restrictions on public gatherings.
