Katharine McPhee will now be singing lullabies for her new bundle of joy.
The 36-year-old artist welcomed her first child, a baby boy, to husband David Foster, 71, her representative confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday.
“Mother, father and son are doing very well,” her representative said in a statement to People.
McPhee, who has been married to Foster since June 2019, first sparked pregnancy speculation in October when the “American Idol” alum was photographed showing her baby bump. Sources later confirmed the pregnancy to People.
Grammy winner Foster has five adult daughters from previous relationships: Amy, Erin, Sara, Jordan and Allison.
Foster and McPhee were first paired in 2017 and made their debut on the Red Carpet at the Met Gala a year later. In July 2018, the couple became engaged while on holiday on the Italian island of Capri.
“He did it on top of this mountain in Anacapri,” McPhee posted to Instagram at the time.
‘Completely dark only stars. Luckily he did not push me off the cliff. “He said it was one of the others and in the end he spared me,” she continued.
McPhee was previously married to Nick Cokas, while this is Foster’s fifth marriage. He was previously married to BJ Cook, Rebecca Dyer, Linda Thompson, and most recently, Yolanda Hadid. The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star filed for divorce in January 2016.
A rep for McPhee did not immediately return our request for comment.
