Diablo II is back with a fresh coat of paint in the well-known Diablo II Resurrected, the upcoming remaster of Blizzard’s core action RPG.
Vicarious Visions and Blizzard welcome players to the action-RPG-defining game after 20 years. Long rumors, Diablo II: Risen contains both new and old elements to introduce a new generation of gamers.

The story
Following the events of the original Diablo, Diablo II Risen open with the dark wanderer. This one-time hero defeats Diablo, the Lord of Terror, and contains the monster in a soul stone he has placed in his body. However, their wickedness could not be curbed. The dark wanderer eventually lost control and through the wanderer Diablo began a new conquest, beginning with the liberation of his brothers. It was a long time ago that Diablo worked with his brothers, who were also sealed in soul stones. Diablo, Mephisto and Baal are the highest demons called Prime Evils. Together, they can easily destroy Sanctuary … and that’s just the beginning.

Until another hero rises to follow the Dark Wanderer and stops Diablo and his brothers, players take on the role of this new hero and embark on a mission to save Sanctuary from the Prime Evils. Diablo II is told about four acts and contains Diablo, Lord of Terror, and Mephisto, Lord of Hatred. After the fourth act, players tackle Baal, Lord of Destruction, as the last Prime Evil. Players must battle hordes of demonic followers to collect weapons, armor, and enchanted items in a definitive action RPG that will guide players through hours of grinding and experimenting with collected equipment.

Diablo II: Risen is a remaster of Diablo II and the expansion Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Blizzard sought help from one of the biggest remaster teams in the industry, Vicarious Visions. After you have worked Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, the studio merged into Blizzard Entertainment. Both companies have already shared their parent company, Activision.
Fans of the original game will be pleased to hear that the remaster has the original game at its core. Blizzard and Vicarious Visions build on top Diablo II to make it look fresh while the game mechanics remain the same. Their main goal is to pull players’ nostalgic strings and implement a system they call the 70/30. Seventy percent of the game’s appearance and appearance should remain the same and give the classic feel, while thirty percent bring something fresh to enhance the experience. While the original Diablo II was in 2D, the remaster is in 3D, which means players can see far more details in action and environment than ever before. The game also includes a Legacy Toggle that allows players to switch between the classic look and the new look.

During Blizzcon Online, Blizzard held a panel for the Diablo franchise. This in addition to news about Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal, they finally revealed the long-rumored Diablo II: Risen. The game’s trailer and subsequent dive panel give us a 2021 release window.
