WESTMINSTER, UK – A mother trying to protect herself and her family from the new coronavirus was eventually misled by false information that led her to drink her own urine. FOX News reports.
For four days, the British woman and her four children swallowed their own urine, believing it would protect them from COVID-19, according to a report by the City of Westminster.
Urine is a waste product of the body. According to a 2015 study that did the concentration, its use is mostly not rejected in western medicine Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology.
The mother said she puts her trust in natural cures. Nevertheless, the medical community has not yet recognized anything as a cure for COVID-19.
To date, vaccines have been the only clinical evidence to prevent COVID-19 disease. But the mother cited a denied conspiracy theory in which Bill and Melinda Gates were involved when she expressed her distrust of vaccines.
Incorrect information has proven to be a public health hazard throughout the pandemic. Apart from drinking urine, many so-called drugs or preventative measures are useless.
One of the most notable counterfeit drugs made headlines this past spring when former President Donald Trump thought out loud about taking bleach to fight the virus.
It caused severe setbacks by health officials, political rivals and bleach manufacturers, but their efforts came to naught.
Only a few days later, officials reported cases of people drinking detergents in an attempt to protect themselves from the coronavirus.
