After years of mocking Britney Spears, Howard Stern changed his tune.
The shock is the latest personality to weigh the public’s concern about the pop star following the release of the “Framing Britney Spears” documentary and her ongoing conservative battle with her father, Jamie Spears.
“I think I’m the free Britney now, I think I’m full of the free Britney,” Stern told co-host Robin Quivers via Variety in his Sirius XM radio show.
Stern referred to the growing #FreeBritney movement. Supporters of the movement believe Jamie not only oppresses his daughter via the conservatory, but many have also questioned whether her father left money from the singer’s fortune for himself.

According to the report, Stern on Wednesday analyzed Spears’ ability to be in control of her finances and other areas of life. While questioning whether she is capable of accepting the responsibilities, he turned to other stars such as Charlie Sheen, Gary Busey, Kanye West and Shia LaBeouf for comparison.
“Ozzy [Osbourne] bit off the head of a bat during a business meeting, “Stern pointed out. He is in charge of his own finances. “

Stern has made headlines in the past for joking about Spears. When the singer reported a judge of “The X Factor” in 2012 with a reported contract of $ 15 million, he questioned her abilities and said he planned to “set up to see what kind of train wreck she is.”
“I think it’s a great decision, Britney still thinks the earth is flat,” Stern said. “Listen, I think we’re going to tune in to see if she can have some sort of function through the thing.”

Stern said he expects Spears will not bring any real means to the competition.
‘As for real criticism, I think Simon [Cowell] and LA Reid will do it. I think Britney is going to stand there and eat a lollipop and wear a sexy outfit. I do not expect great opinions from her, ‘he continued.

‘I think she’s going to sit there like J.Lo and [say], ‘Oh, you’re great. You are awesome. Do you think I can get a perfume approval from this? Do you think I can act on the program? “I think that’s what this is about,” he added.
In 2003, Stern’s interview with Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit about his rumored romance with Spears also went viral. When the radio personality asked Durst to discuss the seriousness of their alleged relationship, Durst replied: “Isn’t it funny to admit it / the first night the Limp dog hit it off, referring to his own lyrics.
The ‘Framing Britney Spears’ document once again brought attention to the downfall of the singer’s superstar. The New York Times program led fans of the star to speak out against Justin Timberlake and Diane Sawyer about the way they have treated the pop star in the past.

Last week, Timberlake apologized to Spears and Janet Jackson amid the dropout he received.
“I would like to specifically apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson, both separately, for caring and respecting these women and I know I have failed. I also feel compelled to respond, in part because everyone involved is better and the most important, because it’s a bigger conversation from which I want to be whole and from which I have to grow … ‘, reads Timberlake’s statement in part.

Meanwhile, live performances over the past few years have been rare for the singer, as her lawyer claimed in court last year that she would not be performing as long as her father, Jamie, was in control.
Jamie, who has denied all rumors about himself, fought last year to have the details of the case sealed. The famous father even spoke out about the movement and called it a ‘joke’.
