(CNN) – More than 480 people, including various ministers and an ex-president, were evacuated in a seal against the covid-19 in Peru, including before the official official evacuation campaign of the country, President Francisco Sagasti said.
During a televised speech on Monday night, Sagasti reported that 487 people had “approved their position” to receive the Sinopharm vaccine, Chinese manufacturing, anticipated form, the Andina State Media reported.
“We will provide our information and information to 487 people, including many high-ranking officials, to provide their cargo to be equipped with Sinopharm vehicles, which will complement the use of our clinical clinics”.

The revelation was made when local media informed that the president Martín Vizcarra and his wife, Maribel Díaz Cabello, had been evacuated while they were in the cargo in October and did not disclose this information to the public.
Vizcarra said that he and his wife had been evacuated as part of a clinical trial, through the Cayetano Heredia University, which was carrying loads of volunteers who had participated as volunteers.
Not all officials who received the evacuation were initially part of the Vizcarra administration. Sagasti signaled that various members of his governing body, including the Minister of External Relations, Elizabeth Astete, had also been fired before, informed Andina.
“We are indignant and we are causing a great deal of pain, because these people who are integrating our Governor of Transition and Emergency have not complied with him as public servants and we must be led by the President of the Council of Ministers,” he said.

Astete, who directed the Peruvian negotiations to buy the Sinopharm vaccine, said in a statement during the end of the week that he had vacated the 22nd of January with what he had created the “remaining doses of the lot in the power of the Cayetano Heredia University” ».

“The Chinese part acknowledges that this clinical trial is taking place in addition to the procedures required by the Peruvian authorities,” the embassy said in a statement. “The Chinese part has no information about the identities of the evacuees.”
Peru converts to the first Latin American country to distribute China’s Sinopharm vaccine on February 9. Although other agreements with Pfizer / BioNTech and Oxford AstraZeneca have been finalized, Sinopharm’s vacancy is the only vacancy that is currently being used.
Peru currently has 1.2 million covid-19 confirmed cases in 43,880 reported deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.
