The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 is finally here after a few spies and many espionage recordings describing the model’s development. It will go on sale in the US this fall, and Porsche will announce the pricing details closer to that time.
At the heart of the new GT3 is the natural aspiration of a 4.0-liter six-engine with 502 horsepower (374 kilowatts) and a torque of 346 pounds (469 Newton-meters). The mill rotates to 9,000 rpm and features six independent gas valve housings. The company uses a new set of pistons compared to the version of this power source in the 911 Speedster, limited use.

The 2022 911 GT3 is standard with a seven-speed PDK. Buyers can also opt for a six-speed manual.
The propulsion with the PDK pushes the car within 96 seconds to 96 kilometers per hour (96 kilometers per hour) and the top speed is 197 km / h (317 km / h). The latest 911 GT3 completed the configuration of the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6 minutes and 59,927 seconds. By comparison, the previous generation GT3 needed 7: 12.7 minutes to cover the circuit, and the last GT3 RS did so in 6: 56.4 minutes.
The 2022 911 GT3 has a double support suspension on the front, rather than the MacPherson strut setup on the standard Carrera. There is not a single suspension component transferred from the regular 911.
You can identify the new GT3 from the front by looking at the front panel which includes integrated cooling. In addition, the front lip spoiler and distributor are adjustable. The track is 1.9 inches wider than the standard 911 Carrera.

At the rear, a hand-adjustable wing is mounted on a swan neck on the rear deck. A few circular exhaust gases come from the center and there is a distributor occupying the area on each side.
To save weight, the hood, rear wing and spoiler are carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Lightweight glass also sheds a few pounds.
The GT3 rides on 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch pieces at the rear. They are about 1.6 kilograms lighter than the wheels on the previous GT3. A set of street-legal track tires is available as an option, and it’s the same rubber from the Nürburgring lap of the car.
Behind the wheels, the GT3 now comes standard with 16.08 inch (408 millimeter) cast iron discs. It is 28 millimeters larger than the previous model. The Porsche Ceramic Composite brakes are an option and measure 16.14 inches (410 millimeters) at the front.

The 911 GT3’s interior also has some upgrades. A Drive Mode button comes from the four-hour position on the steering wheel. Unlike the blocky design on other 992-generation Porsches, the PDK acceleration uses a custom manual transmission, which looks more comfortable in the hand. The four-way adjustable Sport Seats Plus is standard, but buyers can choose 18-way Sport Seats Plus or Full Bucket Seats from carbon fiber, which cuts about 11.79 kilograms.
The Chrono package is an option. It adds a stopwatch on the dashboard, a digital stopwatch in the instrument cluster and supports the Lap Trigger to keep track of the times on a circuit exactly.
