There may be less than a month of Season 5 left, but Epic Games still has a lot on their sleeve.
The official @FortniteStatus The Twitter account has confirmed the details of the upcoming update v15.40. It will be released on Tuesday, February 16th.
As usual, the server’s operating time will start around 04:00 ET / 9:00 UTC and is expected to last approximately one hour.

Following this announcement, the developers post a second tweet, in which they describe what they should be on the lookout for: one point in particular caused a major uproar.

Fans have been deeply speculating about which weapon or item could return on Tuesday. The Pump Shotgun is a popular exclamation point, but Epic’s wording has others expecting the Heavy Sniper Rifle, Flint-Knock Pistol or Hunting Rifle.
Further improvements to the Performance Mode Alpha are also coming in. PC players now have an option to customize the level of detail of objects and buildings, which means they do not get stuck with mobile quality graphics.

In addition, non-player characters on the map will start to store more exotic loot. At the moment, it can be difficult to get hold of something like the Hop Rock Dualies, and this change will no doubt be welcomed by many hunters.
Eventually, both the “Air Royale” and “Floor is Lava” Limited Time Modes will be back in the game soon. Watch tomorrow for more information as soon as the update launches!
