According to the fire department, a family in an apartment complex in the 8500 block of Easton Commons Drive tried to heat their unit with a charcoal grill.
The circumstances of those involved were not immediately disclosed.

In the aftermath of the incident, firefighters reminded people of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning, especially as the area dives deeper into very cold temperatures.
“Please remember to never heat your home with a grill or oven,” the fire department tweeted. “Remember to never run a generator or grid in your home. It produces carbon monoxide, which is a deadly, colorless and odorless gas.”
