You simply can not beat the ease of a drive-through.
NASCAR driver Ross Chastain on Sunday optimally rained the Daytona 500 and hit a local McDonald’s to pick up some for his team.
Organizers pushed the start time back to 9 p.m. when heavy rain fell at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, and the race stopped after just 15 laps due to rain and lightning in the area.
At the moment, Chastain grabs a Mickey D in his Chevrolet to refill.

In a now-viral video shared by Chip Ganassi Racing, a McDonald’s employee shouted to see the NASCAR pro at the door window, as seen in the footage filmed from the passenger seat.
“You just got off the racetrack?” asked the woman.
“Yes! We race when it stops raining,” Chastain exclaims, explaining that he’s participating in the McDonald’s sponsored car as number 42.
The food service worker gave her new friend a drink and three paper bags and confirmed that he had ordered ‘six of everything’.

“We feed the whole crew!” Chastain said, fitting into a baseball cap with the McDonald’s logo.
The Golden Arches employee also handed over a hot fudge sundae, which Chastain possessively declared “it’s mine.”
A spokesman for the restaurant quickly snuck in from his official account and wrote, ‘It’s like he says I’m racing for myself with the McDonald’s car. ‘
Prior to the delay, 16 cars were involved in a wreck that took seven riders out of the race, including pole vaulter Alex Bowman and Daniel Suarez, who drive for the Trackhouse Racing team, which is co-owned by music superstar Pitbull. No one sustained significant injuries.
