Luka Doncic is an NBA superstar after just two seasons in the league, and this season he is a legitimate MVP candidate for the Dallas Mavericks. While Luka is still playing at a high level, however, the Mavericks have struggled and are near the bottom of the “food chain” in the Western Conference.

This team dealt with a lot of injuries and players were due to health and safety protocols, but overall the lack of talent in this attack at the offensive end of the pitch is very clear. After finishing third in the league a season ago and being one of the better overall attacking teams in the league, the Mavs were currently 20th in the league that they achieved in the standings and in the standings in the league shot in three points.

With Kristaps Porzingis once again striving for full strength on the pitch, the Mavericks have none other than Luka Doncic making them feel comfortable having the ball in their hands. As a result, Dallas really need to make a big move near the NBA deadline if they are going to meet the hype and possibly make the playoffs.

While he may not be such a big name in the commercial market and is no longer considered high, Kevin Love can still have great value to a team that wants to make the playoffs like the Mavericks. He is a career shooter with 37% of three points and due to his skills to also be an excellent rebounder, he could be the third scorer this team needs.

Given his contract size and the amount of talent the Cavs have in their forefront, they should be very willing to listen to offers for Kevin Love. With that said, let’s look at a potential trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Dallas Mavericks where Kevin Love is involved.
