Trump indictment defense team shows Dems with more than 9 minutes compiled with the word ‘fight’

Former President Donald Trump’s indictment team played more than nine minutes of footage on Friday showing Democrats using the word “fight,” trying to refute the indictment by House accusers that Trump incited the Capitol uprising on January 6.

The long line-up of Democrats using the word – which contains many clippings with little or no context – comes after Trump lawyer David Schoen accused accusers of selectively changing Trump’s words. Some of the Democrats shown were senators who served as jurors during the indictment, including Chuck Schumer of New York, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Raphael Warnock of Georgia and Kirsten Gillibrand of New York.

House executives pointed to Trump’s own words ahead of the January 6 uprising, when he said supporters would lose the country if they did not fight like hell. Democrats also argued that Trump’s speech was the culmination of a month-long effort to undermine the election results.
