Charisma Carpenter revealed earlier this week that she has been traumatized for years due to the treatment she received from the show’s creative director.

Michelle Trachtenberg has filed a new indictment against Joss Whedon.

The actress recently updated a statement she issued on social media earlier this week when she came to the support of a fellow Buffy the Vampire Slayer the actor Charisma Carpenter, who revealed that she was traumatized for years because of the treatment she received from Whedon during the production of the iconic show and its spin-off, Angel.

Trachtenberg, who played Buffy’s younger sister, Dawn Summers, from 2000-03, responded to a message from Sarah Michelle Gellar, who supported Carpenter, saying, “Thank you @SarahMgellar for saying that. I am now brave enough as a 35-year-old woman …. To put it again. Because. It must be. Known. As a teenager. With his inappropriate behavior …. a lot. Not. Appropriate. “

Trachtenberg has since updated the statement to add: ‘There was a rule to say [Whedon] is not allowed in a room with Michelle again, ‘Trachtenberg wrote, adding that she did not want to comment further on the matter.

Carpenter accuses Whedon of ‘hostile and toxic’ behavior on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. “For almost two decades I have kept my tongue out and even made excuses for certain events that have traumatized me to this day,” she wrote in a long message this week.

“Joss Whedon abused his power on several occasions while collaborating on the sets of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, “ she writes of the creator. “The disturbing incidents caused a chronic physical condition that I still suffer from. It is with a beating, heavy heart that I say that I have faced in isolation and sometimes destructively.”

Whedon has not yet commented on the allegations.

On Thursday night, Eliza Dushku, who played Faith, played Buffy and she Angel spinoff, shared a statement on Instagram expressing her ‘sadness’ for Carpenter. “I’m sorry you kept it up for so long. Your message was powerful, painful and painted a picture we will never see or deny together. Thank you. I did not know it and I won forget it, she wrote.
