Dua Lipa makes a clean break in the new song ‘Ons is goed’

Dua Lipa makes a clean break from a relationship in her new song “We are good.” This is her first new track of the year, and the main single from the Moonlight Edition of her second album, Future nostalgia.

In the song’s accompanying video, Lipa performs in a restaurant on a cruise ship, while eaters order live lobsters which are then cooked and served. Like the theme of the song about freeing yourself instead of feeling trapped in a relationship when things are not meant to be, the fates of the cruisers and crayfish take a turn in perspective in a surprising turn. “Don’t judge yourself if you’re with someone else,” she sings. “As long as you swear, you will not be angry if I do it myself / let’s shut it down as we should and say we’re fine.”

Future Nostalgia (The Moonlight Edition) contains her original tracks from her second LP, plus new songs “We Are Good”, “If It Is Not Me” and “That Kind of Woman.” The luxury set also includes previously released singles “Prisoner” with Miley Cyrus, “Fever” with Angèle and “Un Día” with J Balvin, Bad Bunny and Tainy.

Lipa has a remix version of her second album, Club Future Nostalgia, last summer. Rolling clipThe cover of February also recently appeared as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, where she performed ‘Don’t Start Now’ and ‘Levitating’, as well as made a sketch appearance.
