Big Hit Entertainment, YG Entertainment, Universal Music Group, en Kiswe Mobile will launch a new live streaming platform ‘VenewLive‘together.
Big Hit Entertainment announced on February 10 that YG Entertainment and Universal Music Group have decided to invest KBYK Live, which is a joint venture of Big Hit and Kiswe Mobile. Big Hit and Kiswe signed a memorandum of understanding in May 2020 and founded their joint corporation KBYK Live in September of that year. Since then, KBYK Live has been using its live-streaming platform ‘VenewLive’ for Big Hit artists, such as BTS‘online concerts’Bang Bang Con: The Live‘and’BTS CARD OF THE SOUL TO: E‘.
YG and UMG plan to grow the ‘VenewLive’ platform as a platform for artists around the world with KBYK Live through their joint investments. ‘VenewLive’ plans to showcase various digital performance elements in the future, such as live chat and the purchase of official merchandise tailored for each artist and their fans.
