Shares of Palantir Technologies Inc. PLTR,
shot up 10.9% in trading on Monday, after the big data software company partnered with International Business Machines Corp. IBM has announced.
on open artificial intelligence applications for business. IBM’s share rose 0.9% before the announcement. The companies will use IBM’s hybrid cloud data platform and Palantir’s operating platform to build applications to launch the Palantir for IBM Cloud Pack for Data, which will be available in March 2021. Palantir’s stock market comes after falling 3.2% last week, a four-week series of gains in which the stock soared 49.4%. The stock has risen 146.2% over the past three months to Friday, while IBM shares have risen 6.8% and the S&P 500 SPX,
it increased by 10.8%.
