Diplo Headlines Super Bowl Super-Spreader Party in Tampa

Diplo can surely attract a crowd, as about 2,000 people crowded the WTR Tampa pool of the Godfrey Waterfront Hotel on Saturday night and – except for the whole COVID super spreader that sometimes causes death – everyone was enjoying themselves.

It looks very pre-pandemic, with music, a dance floor, bars and fun belts. And as usual, there is little social distance and masks.

The electronic music and light show is pretty spectacular as fire dancers do their thing.

On a serious note, this is what holds Dr Fauci and other experts at night. Some of them warned … if there are 50 people in the crowd, the chances are more than 50% that at least one of them is wearing COVID.

With the variants spreading across the US – some of which are even more contagious than the COVID OG – these and other events like these are disasters waiting to happen.
