Jennifer Lawrence was left injured after being hit in the eye with a shattered glass when a trick went wrong on the set of her latest film.
The Oscar-winning star, who earned a £ 10 million report, was said to be “shaken but OK” by Leonardo DiCaprio in the sci-fi drama Don’t Look Up after the incident in Boston.
The accident occurred when the 30-year-old filmed a riot scene where a trash can was thrown through a window next to the place where she was sitting.

A source said: ‘It was a routine trick and everything looked good until the window shattered and she screamed and fell to the floor.
The glass hit her above the eye, but there was concern that small fragments would have gone into the eye, so she was taken to hospital.
There does not appear to be any long-term damage. ‘
The film, which has already been delayed by Covid, has now been postponed while the actress recovers.
