Jalen was introduced to Alex Erick and his family through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. When they got to know each other, Jalen learned about the family’s journey and the battle to fight cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic. Jalen wanted to give special support to Erick and his family during the holiday season – and it became so much more for the NFL quarterback and the family.
Adam Schefter on Carson Wentz: ‘If I had to guess, I would guess he’s traded’ – BGN
KINCADE: We went back and forth, Adam, about the idea that he still did not speak. Or did not even issue a statement. At this point, now that the new coach – SCHEFTER: Well, that tells you something. KINCADE: It does it! It tells me that the leader of the franchise, the man who was supposed to be the face of the franchise, was somehow disconnected from the franchise. SCHEFTER: And wants to leave the franchise. Well? And that’s why the trade is still playing. And again, these would mean that you have to spend for these processes. Was it made? [up]? It’s all real. None of this was made up. And just because he wants to be relocated or not commenting does not mean he will be. If I had to guess, I would guess he is being traded. That would be my guess. At some point, it is out of season. But again, they do not want to get rid of him. They are not.

Eagles stay or go: defensive attack – PhillyVoice
Cox carries big hits in the next two seasons. He will count for $ 23,879,939 in 2021 and $ 23,779,939 in 2022, the final year of his contract. On top of that, due to some previous lightning players, the Eagles are on top of almost $ 6.5 million after its contract was terminated. #JimmyVerdict: Cox is not going anywhere this season, but there is an extraordinary possibility that the Eagles will be able to handle him by the deadline if the season starts badly, as most of us expect.
Great Tips – Iggles Blitz
I believe the Eagles need Carson Wentz to accept the changes and new staff if they are going to keep him. If he doubts or hesitates, go ahead. You do not want Wentz here unless he is fully committed. Schefter did not speak directly to Wentz, but he is better connected than any other person covering the league. It is clear what is being said behind the scenes. If Wentz wanted to put an end to this speech, he could say something on social media or talk to a number of media outlets. He remained silent. Wentz’s silence could be a calculated step to help the team swap him. If he demands a trade, it can reduce the market. If Wentz stays quiet, the Eagles can listen to offers without shopping him, and give them help with negotiations.

The Cowboys Are Not Fixed With One Season – Blogging The Boys
As we sit enviously watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepare for Super Bowl LV, it’s natural to see how the Dallas Cowboys can resolve the 2020 issues. Some, such as injuries and the difficult transition to a new coaching staff, will hopefully more or less resolve themselves. The team also has the elephant trampling around the room in need of having Dak Prescott re-signed. But it is not unreasonable to hope that everything will get better. With free agency and the concept going on, there are many theories on how to use the available resources to fix this team. Of course, they are expected to have ten concepts, and they have repeatedly proven that they can find the space they need. Of course there is a chance. That’s the thing, though. The chances are much smaller than most would admit. Consider this a warning that 2021 is going to be a rebuilding year, and to expect the Cowboys to get into the playoffs, and make even less of a turnaround, is likely to lead to disappointment.

Two Chiefs players are in quarantine after their barber tested positive for Covid – SB Nation
Two Chiefs players are possibly in a nightmare scenario of missing the Super Bowl due to Covid 19, and it will all be due to a haircut. Receiver Demarcus Robinson and center Daniel Kilgore were placed on the list of reserves on Monday after the team announced they had ‘close contact’ with someone who tested positive. Now we know the story behind the encounter. The players decided to get their hair in Florida before the game, when their barber learned that he had tested positive – amid a haircut. The man, who had numerous negative results before entering the Chiefs facility, learned that his quick test returned positive while cutting Kilgore’s hair. The players were immediately quarantined from the rest of the team, which fortunately prevented the potential spread from reaching more players who made appointments with the barber.

Salary Limit, Vaccinations Among NFL’s Big Questions for 2021 – NFL.com
The NFL and NFLPA began preliminary negotiations on the 2021 salary cap last month. Some team officials believe (and certainly hope) that the limit will eventually land closer to $ 185 million per club – if not a little higher – than the minimum amount of $ 175 million the parties agreed last summer when they went for empty and mostly empty stadiums. [BLG Note: Higher cap is better for the Eagles.]
