BALTIMORE – The Baltimore Orioles will agree with veteran launcher Felix Hernandez with a minor league contract.
Hernández won a Cy Young of the American League title, two titles of efficiency and all six All-Star teams during the Seattle Mariners’ 15 days before converting to a free agent for the last time.
The 34-year-old player signed a minor league contract with Atlanta and suffered well during the training sessions, but was finally opted to sell the time of 60 games agreed to the pandemic.
