Destruction AllStars Devs Aware of Voice Chat Issues Aimed At Announcing Update Plans This Week

Destruction AllStars, the new destruction derby game for the PlayStation 5, is finally out, but players are discovering that cars are not the only thing colliding in this game. Voices are also because Destruction AllStars turns on standard voice calls through the PS5 DualSense. Now the developers say they are working on a solution. When you enter a Destruction AllStars game, the entire lobby will automatically enter into conversation with the other players. If you do not have a microphone or headset, do not worry because Destruction AllStars uses the DualSense controller as your default microphone and headset.

Now, on Reddit, Lucid Games has announced that it is working on a solution for the voting commission and parties for party chat ‘ASAP’. In a report published by Lucid’s community manager, an update for the voting commission will appear sometime this week on Thursday or Friday.

Meanwhile, the developers are advising players who do not want to experience the free chat conversation, to press the PlayStation button and then the square on the party chat card. From there, players can mute the voice chat when joining a game or creating a private party chat.

You have to do this every time you join a new game, so it’s a temporary solution rather than a complete solution.

Destruction AllStars was originally announced as a PS5 launch title. However, it has been delayed until now where PlayStation 5 owners can get the game for free as part of the PS Plus offers this month. The delay was beneficial to the developers, as Destruction AllStars is an online competitive game, and it made sense to reach the largest audience possible via PS Plus. And the delay gave developers more time to strengthen their network backend for the emerging players.
