According to UDOH, the number of coronavirus patients in ICUs is also down.

The number of Utahns hospitalized with COVID-19 fell Tuesday, by 11.1% from 396 to 352. The number of coronavirus patients in intensive care fell by 8.46%, from 130 to 119.
And nearly a quarter of Utah’s ICU beds are now unoccupied.
However, the death toll continued to rise. Twelve deaths were reported Wednesday; three or three occurred before January 14 and were only confirmed to be related to COVID-19.

Cases reported in the past day • 1 591.
Deaths reported in the past day • 12.
Hospitalizations reported in the past day • 352. It’s 44 as of Tuesday. Of those currently hospitalized, 119 are in intensive care units – 11 less than Tuesday.
Tests reported in the past day • 9,149.
Percentage of positive tests • 17.39%. This is higher than the seven-day average of 16.6%.
Total to date • 350,000 cases; 1,697 deaths; 13,648 hospitalizations; 2,044,811 tests.
