It’s hard to believe it’s been thirteen years since Heath Ledger died at the age of 28. The actor has left a long legacy for his unnaturally short life, which includes winning a posthumous Oscar for his role in The Dark Knight. Ledger also left behind family, friends and former partners, who still retain his memory. On Tuesday, actor Heather Graham shared some personal, unseen photos from her relationship with Ledger on Instagram while remembering her ex as a ‘special person’. On Tuesday, the actor took to social media to share some photos she had up to date with Ledger. “I found it through my photos,” she wrote at the gallery. “Just think of this time. Heath Ledger was such a special person. ‘

Graham and Ledger reportedly met when two different films both brought to Prague in the Czech Republic. Graham was busy with the above From hell, with Johnny Depp, and Ledger was filming A Knight’s Tale. They were together from October 2000 to Jun 2001 and attended several Hollywood events together, including the Knight’s Tale first.
But while photographers captured them on the red carpet, the photo of them was not seen by the public until Graham posted it on her Instagram.

In addition to acting, Ledger has a passion for photography, filmmaking and visual arts. Graham’s gallery contains a portrait Ledger took of himself in a mirror – something he regularly did. In the years after they dated and even after the actor died, Graham never spoke openly about her relationship with Ledger. And even with this message that reminds him, she mostly lets the photos speak for themselves.
