Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen Roadmap and Calendar: Stasis Aspects and Trials buit

Destiny 2According to the Bungie announcement on Tuesday morning, Guardians will be head to head with the Cabal again during the latest season. The studio has outlined more details on Season of the Chosen on its website, including a roadmap showing when players can expect new content to appear in the game.

On February 9, Bungie Season of the Chosen begins. Players can immediately start two of the new seasonal Battlegrounds events and jump into the returning Devil’s Lair and Fallen SABER Strikes. Players can also start a quest for a new Stasis Aspect on opening day, which will allow Guardians to further customize their latest subclass.

On February 12, the first day of a new trial season is presented. As Bungie teased last week, Trials of Osiris is coming out with a new set of weapons and armor for season 13. It is currently unclear whether players can earn the existing Trials of Osiris loot again, or it will all disappear from the outer pool.

On February 16, a new Battleground opens in the Cosmodrome. February 23rd is the return of Iron Banner and the release of the final Battleground – which looks like it’s on Mercury, a Destiny 2 planet that is no longer in play.

The calendar indicates that nothing will happen between February 23rd and mid-March. On March 23, season passers-by can try out the new Proving Grounds Strike a week early. Season of the elect’s second week of Iron Banner also begins on March 23. All players will have access to Proving Grounds on March 30, where the new Strike will also appear as the Nightfall for the first time.

Iron Banner returns on April 13th. And the very bad Guardian Games holiday event returns on April 20th. Last year, the Titans smoked the competition due to some bizarre weight issues. We’ll see if Hunters and Warlocks get a good fight this time.

This list especially lacks the ‘Redacted’ exotic quest mentioned on the Season of the Chosen website. This new weapon looks like a new Stasis weapon built by Tex Mechanica – the weapon maker behind The Last Word and The Chaperone. It is unclear when players will be able to get their hands on this new weapon, but recent seasons indicate that the quest may appear somewhere during the slow period between February and March.
