Mila Kunis gives an honest answer as to why she and her husband Ashton Kutcher were eager to film a Cheetos commercial for the upcoming Super Bowl: it meant a few days of parental leave.
It was quarantine and we were sitting with our children for nine, 12 months right now, and I was like, ‘Two days, honey! Two days off, ‘”the actress (37) jokes Entertainment tonight. “We were literally like, ‘Yeah, OK, let’s do it. “And so we did. And I hate to say it, but we were like, ‘Freedom!’ It was breathtaking! “
Kunis and Kutcher (42) have two children: daughter Wyatt Isabelle (6) and son Dimitri Portwood (4).
“I love my kids so much! So, so much!” Kunis explained before saying that she ‘had never been so excited to wake up at five in the morning to be like,’ I’m going to work! ‘And I literally jumped out of the house. My children were like, ‘You are leaving us!’ And I was like ‘Relax’. ‘
Kunis also stated that her ‘whole family is already co-dependent’, adding that the coronavirus pandemic ‘feeds only in our entire co-dependence’.
“And my husband and I were super dependent for eight years and in this pandemic our children look like, ‘Where are you going? “And I was like, ‘The bathroom.’ We did not leave each other. We’re in the house. Yes, it was really strange to them. “They forgot we had to leave the house,” Kunis said.
The couple, who as teenagers on the set of That 70’s Show, recently gave their first interview together since they were married in 2015. On an episode of the Teach me something new podcast with host Brit Morin, they opened up life at home with their two children. Kunis showed her parents’ pride by calling her children the ‘greatest man ever created’, and the couple has a low approach to child rearing, and enjoys being ‘stupid’.
‘We are very stupid parents when it comes to our children, but it does not have to [skills]. I think it’s just idiots, “Kunis said. “I think we are comfortable acting like fools at home, but I think it comes from the idea of being comfortable in your own body, in your own skin and in your own mind.”
