[VIDEO] ‘SNL: John Krasinski sings theme song for’ The Office ‘

Looks like the next issue of This is now what I call music is going to be a must for TV fans.

In the reef of the popular NOW music franchise, SNL delivered his own version entitled, Now I call it what theme songs are sung by stars, which allows numerous series of leads (or facsimiles) to perform original lyrics on some of the TV’s most classic tracks (check out the full clip below).

The short begins with Chloe Fineman giving us her best Nicole Kidman while she crowns Undo‘s first tune, “Dream a Little Dream of Me.” (“Did you notice my coat? She asks.) From there we get new versions of the songs of Bridgerton (by way of Lady Whistledown, or Julie Andrews), The Mandalorian, The Queen’s Gambit, Succession and more, as Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, Beck Bennett, Melissa Villaseñor, Pete Davidson, Kyle Mooney, Alex Moffat and all stepped in to exercise their vocal talents.

But in the last hurray of the track, host John Krasinski sang the “long lost lyrics” for the first time The office‘s theme song, which began with a whole bunch of “Scrantons.” After that, he proudly performed Dunder Mifflin and sang along with the actual opening credits, which basically turned into a narration of the accompanying video (‘That’s a calculator!’).

It was not the only nice fun of the night Office fans. In Krasinski’s opening monologue he was constantly interrupted by ‘Office fans ”Kenan Thompson, Moffat, Davidson and Ego Nwodim, who did not really ask questions, but rather took the opportunity to repeatedly name the actor“ Jim ”. The bit ended in a kiss between ‘Jim and Pam’ with SNLown Pete Davidson who joins Jenna Fischer. (Check out the full monologue here.)
