Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 and Xbox One Update 1.10 bring better frame rates

Cyberpunk 2077 has long had issues with rate performance on consoles.

Players on the latest generation of systems like Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have had trouble managing the game.

With issues like low frame rate and other frustrating issues, console players had to put the game out or play on other platforms.

Thanks to a new report from Digital Foundry, that may have just changed.

Cyberpunk 2077 FPS on Xbox One and PS4

During a recent performance test of Digital Foundry, it was discovered that the recent update 1.10 of Cyberpunk 2077 brought some useful fps improvements.

The performance test indicates that the game no longer drops below 20 fps, which was an ongoing issue already noted in update 1.02.

Tests include playing the game during more busy periods with additional NPCs on screen.

The frame rate did stay above 20 fps, but up to 16 fps back during update 1.02.

Unfortunately, this does not mean that the problem is completely solved.

There are still issues with frame rate declines, and Digital Foundry notes that the game is closer to how [they] expecting it to be at launch, “it is” not great. “

This may make it easier for gamers on consoles to enjoy the game, but it will not play as it was originally intended.

The latest update for Cyberpunk 2077 is version 1.11, which is essentially a hotfix.

The update is not intended to fix performance issues, but it does fix a bug fixing bug with Takemura that started appearing with version 1.10.

It also fixes issues with the randomness of items and other issues that the previous update highlighted.

There are still several updates that Cyberpunk 2077 has going on, so we’ll probably see additional FPS fixes soon.
