Premier League More contract details emerge

More details on James Rodriguez’s deal with Everton has emerged over the past few days, including an unknown clause that could extend his contract for another year.
The Colombian international moves to the Toffees from Real Madrid last summer and signed a two-year deal with the Premier League team.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the above agreement includes a one-year extension clause, which will be activated automatically if James features in a certain number of games.
However, as the English publication indicates, Everton could extend the deal by an additional 12 months, even if the 29-year-old playmaker fails to reach the number of appearances.
Asked about the details of James‘deal, his coach Carlo Ancelotti avoid discussing this particular clause.
“Really, we did not talk about this at the moment, we are just glad he is here and he is happy to be here,” Ancelotti said at a press conference.
“If we’re happy, he’s happy.
‘There is no problem signing the contract
“It is not my job to extend the contract with the player.
“I can only advise the club to extend the contract and I can advise the player to stay with us. That’s it.”
