Offensive linebacker Chad Wheeler of the Seattle Seahawks was arrested last week after he allegedly had a ‘physical fight’ with his girlfriend, according to police.
Wheeler, who began his NFL career in 2017 after playing at USC, reported in a quarrel in Kent, Wash., The Seattle Times reported.
In the police report, officers said they were responding to a call that a woman had locked herself in a bathroom and called police, saying she feared she would be ‘killed’ by Wheeler.

The friend apparently told police she sustained a dislocated arm and was bleeding. Police said when they arrived at the scene, they heard screams from the bathroom, where they saw Wheeler standing next to his girlfriend, the Times reported.
The quarrel apparently started after Wheeler’s girlfriend refused to bow down in front of him. It was then that he allegedly grabbed her, threw her on the bed and suffocated her until she was unconscious, police said. After regaining consciousness, Wheeler apparently said, “Are you alive?”
