Hannah Brown won ‘Dancing With The Stars’ in the fall of 2019, but more than a year later she’s still dealing with injuries she sustained during the show.

“I think this political climate and with COVID was difficult for all of us and me too,” she said during a light walk on her Instagram Stories. ‘Usually, if I’m struggling and dealing with my mental health, I can go exercise. Well, for the past five months, maybe almost six, I have not been able to work as before. ‘

The “Bachelorette” star did notice that her physical and mental health was slowly improving.

“I’m still going to the doctor and trying to figure it out, but I think a lot of my body hurts because of problems that started with ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and I just kept going from zero to 100 – I’m either or nothing – and pushed it too far to where I now have problems with physical therapy, “she said.” So I mostly did it and then went hiking and biking, but honestly, that’s it.

Hannah quickly added: ‘To put it bluntly, there have always been problems, but I think’ DWTS ‘puts extra strain on previous injuries. “

In addition to her injuries, the TV star admitted that the criticism of her body was not easy to hear or see.

“I began to realize that more people could relate to this girl, the one who was struggling,” she shared. “I’m just trying to be more honest about where I am. I know we all start in different places, so some people emphasize me, they want to point out that I have gained weight, some people say I look good, but I just want to feel good and I do not feel well, because I could not work out as I needed my body. ‘

She continued: ‘So, instead of being zero or 100, I’m going to learn to show up where I can be now, whether it’s 50 percent, 60 percent, 35 percent my best; you have to start somewhere. ‘

Hannah (26) also wrote: “My general health is now my first priority. So I will continue to do everything I can now – be more about trying new exercise methods (I have always been a HIT workout, athlete with high cardio-balls-to-the-wall), learn to adjust and listen to my body, and continue with medical advice to hopefully get clarity soon! “
