Puerto Rico’s governor, Pedro Pierluisi, said he was assured that Puerto Rico was part of the millions of vaccine doses that President Joe Biden promised to send to the United States and the territories.
In the next three weeks, Biden says that a minimum of 10 million weekly vacancies will be sent to cities and territories, the amount that each receipt will depend on the population.
“We must ensure that we receive the vacancies that we correspond with American citizens that we are,” wrote Pierluisi.
For another case, Biden made sure to buy 100 million additional doses of each of the vacancies he received against the coronavirus in order to be enrolled in another year, and the governor would be able to enter the enough dose levels to evacuate 300 millions of people.
