Omen has already been plagued by numerous bugs and was hit with Valorant’s 2.01 patch with another unintended exploitation. The new bug allows players to cancel and reuse the agent’s ultimate ability, giving them infinite teleports without cooling down.
An important part of Valorant’s appeal is the variety of agents that players take control of when they struggle against their opponents. The characters of the game offer a variety of archetypes and playing styles to choose from, and these choices are one of the main attractions for new and veteran players.
One of the characters released, Omen, was a popular choice from the start because of his unique abilities. With a kit that enables the agent to distract, confuse, and flank enemies’ attention, he remains a top choice for the Controller role in both casual and ranked play.
Despite its popularity, the ‘phantom of a memory’ remains controversial due to numerous flaws associated with its capabilities. After patch 2.01, it appears that a new, expanding Omen exploit has been introduced that allows players to use its ultimate ability without any cooling.

With a new Omen exploit, players can reuse their ultimate ability without cooling down.
In a clip shared on Reddit by ‘u / LogicaLogix’, the player can be seen repeatedly using his ultimate ability, without cooling between uses. The short video shows how Omen activates his teleport, appears at the intended location, but then cancels the ability’s animation at the last second.
After canceling animation, Omen’s Ultimate is immediately ready to use again, and the correct voice line plays each time, saying, “My Ultimate is ready.” The player teleports this way three times on the map, with its ultimate fully charged and ready to use after each activation.
One user asked u / LogicaLogix how he could get it, and the poster explained that ‘you have to pull out your knife and click on the card at the same time and then use a capability before tp.’ It is not an easy step to pick up, and the player admits: “The timing is very difficult to get down.”
Omen can cancel his ultimate animation after teleporting VALORANT
The comments of the post were filled with frustration and disbelief from the community. “Every week, every week it’s the same with Omen,” one user replied. Another one asked ‘[have] did we have a single patch without an Omen error? ‘
Despite the fact that errors in a title appear unusual, Omen has experienced a very large number of problems since Valorant’s first release. At one point, Riot even removed the character from the game while they were working to address another teleportation issue related to the agent.
Riot did not respond to your / LogicaLogix’s response at the time of writing. Although they have yet to address the latest Omen bug, their team is likely to be looking for issues related to the agent and will likely emit a solution as a top priority once they are aware of the new exploitation.
